Love's Presentation

 Synopsis:

David Hockney is one of the world’s most popular contemporary artists whose long career has seen consistent change in location, technique, and chosen medium. Love’s Presentation is the first of many in a series of films on artists by James Scott who captures the creation of David Hockney’s famous ‘Cavafy Etchings’ of 1967.

This exciting study of Hockney at work is presented with a keen eye for detail, by director James Scott and cinematographer Adam Barker-Mill, mixed with a witty and irreverent audio commentary by David himself!
